The General Counsel for the Agency for Health Care Administration is seeking to hire a Paralegal who requires limited supervision in performing tasks such as research, document discovery, document review, drafting pleadings, and case management.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

This position will require knowledge of legal terminology, law and legal procedure; ability to conduct fact-finding interviews; ability to comprehend and interpret information; ability to research legal documents and legal references; ability to record information accurately; ability to perform legal writing; ability to maintain files; ability to plan, organize and coordinate work assignments; ability to communicate effectively; and ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSREQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum five (5) years' experience as a Legal Assistant or Paralegal.

Preference will be given to candidates with a Paralegal degree and/or Paralegal Certification from the Florida Bar.
