Job DescriptionPosition open for full-time Medical Assistant, phlebotomist, EMT or ER Tech. We are a regenerative clinic offering cutting edge treatment in the field of stem cells and other biological substances injected for orthopedic regeneration. 3 years experience. Must be experienced. Great opportunity to be involved in helping people and be on the cutting edge of medicine.Perform a variety of specimen collection techniques from patients. Additional duties may include: reception, data entry, collection of billing information, specimen processing and client and customer service duties. In addition, must be flexible in work schedules.Skill and comprehension level required for this category: Phlebotomy certification (where required) from an accredited agency, completion of an approved phlebotomy training course, or equivalent experience through previous employment.Phlebotomist with a preferred minimum of 3 years experience as a patient service technician/phlebotomist. Must exhibit strong customer skills demonstrating a focus on patient care. Must exhibit professional appearance and behavior. Must be proficient at obtaining payment from patients. Exhibit proficiency in all of the following: blood collection by venipuncture, difficult draws. Must exhibit proficiency in data entry and processing of samples. Have comprehensive understanding of compliance and safety, must comply with applicable safety procedures. Possess the ability and skills necessary to perform other duties as required by supervisor (training, travel, etc).Skill RequirementsAdministrative: Answer telephones, maintain logs/records, organizational skills, proficiency with numbers, research information, time management, train employees, use computerized databases, written and verbal communications.Working Conditions: Possible exposure to infection from disease-bearing specimens; regularly exposed to the risk of blood-borne diseases; must comply with applicable safety procedures.License/Certification/Education: Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent. Meet all state & local requirements for Phlebotomy.
